En primeurs 2023

2023 Vintage

The winter was mild, with February being the only exception, as it was colder than usual. The vine growth was supported by an almost tropical climate, humid until May, followed by abundant rains in June. In response to these conditions, the teams carried out numerous green operations to maintain a good sanitary condition in the vineyard. The cool summer followed by a warm early autumn allowed the grape berries to concentrate, with harvest starting on September 12 and a meticulous selection of berries to ensure the quality of the wines.

Harvest

The harvest took place from September 12 to October 3.

Aging

The wine was aged in 38.1% new French oak barrels.

Wine Profile

"The wine shows a very beautiful deep red color. The first nose is aromatically intense. Then, swirling reveals subtle complexity of finely wooded red and black fruits: enchanting. The attack of this Quintus is broad, fat, and tight at the same time. The wine remains perfumed and demonstrates that measured tannic power allows a captivating aromatic presence." - Ch. Quintus
