CHATEAU LES CARMES HAUT-BRION
The origins of Château Les Carmes Haut-Brion date back to the 16th century when Jean de Pontac, the Château Haut-Brion’s owner, handed a vines plot down to Carmel priests. The wine is produced with a high quality and is renowned by the use of “Carmes Haut-Brion”. Sold as a “national asset”, the estate was bought by Léon Colin, a wine merchant in Bordeaux, at the beginning of the 19th century. In 2010, Patrice Pichet, a Gironde property developer, acquired Château Les Carmes Haut-Brion.
