CHATEAU BEAUCASTEL
Symbolic in Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, the Beaucastel estate has been present in the Rhone Valley, in Courthézon in Vaucluse, since the 16th century. The estate has belonged to the Perrin family for five generations. Beaucastel is one of the few estates using the thirteen grape varieties which are allowed by the AOC (Controlled Designation of Origin) for assembling the prestigious red Châteauneuf-du-Pape cuvée which included a high percentage of Mourvedre. The white Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes cuvée is only composed of Roussanne, which is unusual in this vineyard. More information

A Legendary Wine Estate
Rooted in history since the 16th century, this iconic estate is a jewel of viticulture in the Rhône Valley. For five generations, it has been elevated by the renowned Perrin family.
A Château respectful of the earth and its roots
Driven by a deep respect for nature, biodiversity, and terroir, Beaucastel adopted organic farming practices as early as 1950 and embraced biodynamic principles starting in 1974.
Beaucastel is one of the few estates in the region that continues the tradition of cultivating and vinifying all 13 grape varieties authorized by the AOC. Each variety is handled separately and then blended with ancestral expertise.
A haute-couture quality
Recognized as one of the finest wines of the vintage by Robert Parker, Hommage à Jacques Perrin 2009 from Château de Beaucastel stands out with its masterful balance and exceptional aging potential of around 40 years. This rare cuvée, produced in very limited quantities, is the result of an outstanding terroir of rolled pebbles and clay-limestone soils located in the northern part of the appellation.
