En primeurs 2024

Vintage 2024
The winter was mild but humid, encouraging the development of diseases such as downy mildew. The teams paid extra attention to preserve the quality of the vintage: grass cover, parcel restructuring, drainage work, and preventive practices like green harvesting. Precision, teamwork, and meticulous care were the guiding principles that brought healthy grapes to maturity.

Viticulture
"2024 was a demanding vintage that highlighted the importance of the reactivity of the winegrowers and the resources deployed to observe, analyze, and intervene with the greatest accuracy. This constant vigilance, made possible by unshakable solidarity and team expertise, reveals great promise in this unique vintage." - Domaines Clarence Dillon

Harvest
Harvesting began on September 24 and ended on October 4. The month of September was decisive for the ripening and concentration of the berries right up to the end. A selective and rigorous sorting process ensured only the best berries were kept. The 2024 vintage shows very high-quality potential, with ripe, expressive Merlots complemented by structured and refined Cabernets.

Aging
The wine was aged in 39% new French oak barrels.

Wine Profile
"The 2024 vintage revealed a charming typicity, marked by beautiful minerality and floral nuances. Less rich than previous vintages but perfectly balanced, the juices offered an elegant and harmonious expression of the great terroirs of Saint-Emilion." - Domaines Clarence Dillon
