CHATEAU L'EGLISE-CLINET, 2010

POMEROL

"Deep garnet in color, the l'Eglise Clinet 2010 begins discreetly with delicate notes of perfumed dried flowers and wild sage, evolving into savory nuances of nuts and meat over an expansive core of stewed plums, blueberry compote, and black cherry coulis, with a hint of menthol. Full-bodied, concentrated, and wonderfully decadent, the palate is absolutely packed with rich, ripe, and preserved dark fruits, accompanied by a myriad of spicy sparks, all framed by ultra-ripe and ultra-silky tannins. The finish is very long and decadent. I love the subtle interplay of finesse and power here—this is truly an impressive wine! Drink between 2020 and 2060." - Wine Advocate
