History and anecdotes
En 1998, Gérard Perse acquiert Château Pavie. D’importants investissements sont dès lors entrepris afin de redonner ses lettres de noblesse au terroir. Michel Rolland officiera comme œnologue conseil et le domaine sera restructuré grâce à l'architecte Alberto Pinto. En 2012, l’excellence de Château Pavie est reconnue avec la promotion du château au rang de « Premier Grand Cru Classé A » de l’appellation Saint-Émilion.
Depuis l’antiquité, la propriété est reconnue pour sa production de fruits, notamment la pêche pavie. Celle-ci donnera son nom au château.
