" Grand vin "surprise" du millésime, le La Fleur-Pétrus 2008 (90 % Merlot et 10 % Cabernet Franc) est un vin remarquablement séducteur et opulent, qui dépasse les attentes liées au caractère du millésime. Sa robe dense, aux reflets prune, rubis et pourpre, dévoile des arômes de cerises noires mûres, de réglisse, de truffe et une légère touche de graphite. Ample et généreux en bouche, il présente des tannins soyeux et une remarquable richesse, pureté et longueur, avec une finale persistante de plus de 40 secondes. History and anecdotes
Château La Fleur-Pétrus is one of the most renowned Pomerol vineyards. This historical estate with plots located in the localities of ‘Pétrus’ and ‘La Fleur’, was named after them in the 18th century. Jean-Pierre Moueix, who had been settled in Libourne since 1937, bought Château La Fleur-Pétrus in 1953.
