Histoire et anecdotes

Château La Conseillante, located in Pomerol, has been owned by the Nicolas Family for over 150 years. The estate's history dates back to the 18th century when Catherine Conseillan established and gave her name to the vineyard. It is one of the most renowned estates, neighboring Château Cheval Blanc and Pétrus. Its success is due to a consistently high quality over the centuries.

In the 1970s, Château La Conseillante made a strategic shift by introducing one of the region’s first modern wineries, enabling the production of more precise cuvées. In 2012, a plot-by-plot vinification cellar was added to further enhance its pursuit of excellence.
