History and anecdotes
Chapelle d'Ausone is the second wine of Château Ausone, located in Saint-Emilion, Grand Cru.
Chateau Ausone has been owned by the Vauthier family since the late 1990s. The history of the estate is very old, it goes back to the 13th century and only 5 families succeeded each other in the management of the estate.
Chateau Ausone takes its name from an iconic figure of Roman antiquity, Decimus Magnus Ausonius, political advisor and professor.
