2021 VINTAGE | " The 2021 vintage, with its northern ripening conditions, will return to the great classic balances of the last century by producing fresh, balanced and structured wines that will gradually reveal all their complexity. " |
WINEMAKING |
The winter was mild and the spring was marked by cold spells that were tempered by the proximity of the Gironde estuary. The cooler temperatures in May slowed down the phisiology of the vine but the flowering took place in normal conditions. The beginning of the summer was rainy and caused a pressure of mildew. The end of the summer was drier and allowed the vines to be cleaned up and to create a hydric pressure to obtain perfectly ripe grapes. |
