CHATEAU COS D'ESTOURNEL BLANC, 2021

BORDEAUX BLANC

Château Cos d'Estournel comments on the 2021 vintage: " In 2021, the vines of Cos d'Estournel Blanc, thanks to an ever deeper rooting, have given birth to a resolutely graceful vintage, between its richness and the finesse of its structure. The immediate proximity of the vineyard to the Gironde and its winds, and the constant support provided by the winemakers, have also contributed to this result. The Sauvignon Blancs, rich but always balanced by a vivacity naturally present on this terroir, make this year again a greater place for the Semillon, which have this year a very marked mineral expression, thanks to some limestone outcrops on this vineyard. Cos d'Estournel White presents in 2021 a profile of a formidable complexity. White peach, rose, bergamot, lemon, gunflint... a polyphony of great harmony. A remarkable energy is added to this richness and aromatic precision, to give birth to a complete and fascinating wine, whose great potential for ageing is not in doubt. "

History and anecdotes
