History and anecdotes
The E. Guigal House is a Rhone Valley world reference. Founded in 1946, the E. Guigal family estate is located in Ampuis in the Northern Rhone Valley, in Côte-Rôtie. Simultaneously, the founder Etienne Guigal decided to create a wine trading house. In 1995, the E. Guigal House bought Château d’Ampuis. In 2017, the family bought Château de Nalys and thus got established in the Southern Rhone Valley in Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation.
