History and anecdotes
Château Talbot is a prestigious Médoc wine from the Saint-Julien appellation, located on the Left Bank at the border of Pauillac. A fourth growth classified in 1855, Château Talbot is named after John Talbot, a famous English count defeated at the Battle of Castillon in 1453. Since 1918, the Cordier family has been at the helm of the estate.
