History and anecdotes
Ideally located in Pomerol, Château Lafleur is a neighbor of the famous and prestigious Pétrus. It was founded in 1872 by Henri Greloud following a division of the Le Gay estate into Château Le Gay and Château Lafleur. The wine takes its name from the plot it cultivates on the Pomerol plateau, nicknamed "Lafleur." For more than a century, the Guinaudeau family has been at the helm of this estate.
