" le Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2006 présente une belle couleur or-citron et s'ouvre sur un fascinant nez intense, floral et légèrement réducteur qui se développe énormément dans le verre, offrant des arômes de citron et de citron confit ainsi que des notes sèches de craie broyée et des saveurs iodées de l'océan Atlantique. C'est un bouquet d'une grande complexité et très prometteur ! La bouche est terriblement fraîche mais aussi riche, luxuriante et intense, avec la pureté des meilleurs vins de la Côte de Blancs, la concentration d'un Chardonnay parfaitement mûr et la souplesse d'un 2006. L'équilibre est impeccable et la tension élevée. Le vin est très tendu et semble encore être sur sa lancée à l'heure actuelle. " - Robert Parker

History and anecdotes
In 1734, Jacques Fourneaux founded a Champagne wine company in order to work with the most beautiful vineyards which were holded by benedictine abbeys at the time. After World War I, the House was established in a private mansion which was before Counts of Champagne’s property. Then, in 1932, Pierre Taittinger became the owner of Forest-Fourneaux and Château de la Marquetterie which he discovered during World War I. At this time, the champagne adventure started. Nowadays, Vitalie Taittinger is running the estate.
