KRUG VINTAGE, 2004 COFFRET

CHAMPAGNE

"2004 was a late harvest year, and this vintage Krug, composed of 39% Chardonnay, 37% Pinot Noir and 24% Pinot Meunier, possesses an impressive aromatic richness of hazelnuts, white fruit and spring flowers. There's both density and freshness on the palate, and an engaging counterpoint between vinosity and tension achieves a compelling, harmonious balance. Worthy of an audacious match with sea urchins!" History and anecdotes
Founded in 1843, Krug belongs to the LVMH Group. The sixth generation of the Krug family is currently perpetuating the founder’s vision, Joseph Krug, which consists in making the most generous Champagne expression each year aside from annual climatic variations. In order to do this, he worked towards the development of the idea of each plot individuality and established a large library of reserve wine from different years.
