CHATEAU PAVIE, 2022

PRIMEURS - LIVRAISON 2025

"2022, an anniversary year. For my family, for my team and for myself, this new vintage shines with a special glow. 2022 is indeed the year of a triple celebration. That of my 30th harvest at Château Monbousquet, where I took my first steps as a winegrower in 1993 - and for Château Pavie both that of my 25th harvest and of the 10th anniversary of its accession to the rank of 1st Grand Cru Classé "A". A position confirmed in 2022 for Château Pavie which now includes the contiguous terroirs of Pavie Decesse and Bellevue Mondotte. For this emblematic vintage, full of memories, emotions and milestones, the weather was pleasantly cooperative: a never-ending summer and a dream harvest allowed us to harvest small, concentrated grapes of great quality and balance. In the cellar, the juices are bursting with the taste of ripe and fresh fruit, promising us a historic vintage. And because we also taste wine with our eyes, our 25th vintage of Château Pavie will be presented in an original bottle, engraved with black and gold colors. Like a gift. "

History and anecdotes

In 1998, Gerard Perse acquired Château Pavie. Major investments began in the Château in order to give its reputation back. Michel Rolland acted as consulting oenologist and the architect Alberto Pinto redesigned the estate. In 2012, the excellence of Château Pavie became well-known thanks to its promotion and “A” classification as Premier Grand Cru in the Saint-Emilion appellation.

Since antiquity, the estate has been well-known for its fruit production, especially the Pavie peaches. The Château was named after them.
