 Ce vin d’exception dévoile un bouquet raffiné de pêche mûre, d’ananas exotique et de noix de coco, rehaussé par des notes chaleureuses de muscade et de cannelle. De délicates touches de pain grillé, de caramel fondant et de vanille, apportées par l’élevage en fûts de chêne neuf, viennent enrichir sa complexité aromatique. Les vins d’Yquem se distinguent par leur richesse remarquable et leur capacité unique à traverser le temps avec grâce. Comme le disait Guitry, « après Mozart, le silence qui suivait était encore du Mozart ». De même, après une gorgée d’Yquem, les instants qui suivent portent encore l’empreinte d’Yquem.

Histoire et anecdotes
Château d’Yquem is located on the left bank of the Garonne. The only soil that has been classified as Premier Cru Supérieur of Sauternes and Barsac in 1855, the first vines were planted in the 16th century. The estate was the Lur-Saluces family’s property for more than four centuries. Since 1999, Bernard Arnault has become the first shareholder.
