2022 VINTAGE | The mild winter was followed by a particularly hot, dry spring and summer. Thanks to the knowledge and discipline of our teams, the health of the vineyard was preserved. The natural mulch from the plant cover played a crucial role in protecting the soil from the heat and helping to capture water from the summer storms to replenish the water reserves. Despite their small size, the concentrated berries successfully withstood the heatwave thanks to their deep roots. |
WINEMAKING | The harvest took place from the 1st to 29th of September. The grapes were sorted both optically and by hand. Vinification took place in concrete and stainless steel vats with a 35-day maceration at a constant temperature of 28°C. |
AGEING | The wine is aged for 17 months in French oak barrels (50% new). |
