TENUTA SAN GUIDO
The Tenuta San Guido was founded in the forties by the Marquis Incisa della Rochetta whose ambition was to produce a great wine equal to the great wines of Bordeaux. That is how the legendary Sassicaia wine was created through the “super tuscans” movement.The name of Sassicaia wine is a reflection of the Tenuta San Guido soil as it means “ground sprinkled with stones”.
