PETRUS

The Petrus estate is located in Pomerol and is named after the locality where vines are growing. The estate was bought by Edmonde Loubat, a hotelkeeper in Libourne, in 1925. Hoping for soil development, she got Jean-Pierre Moueix, a wine merchant in Libourne, as a partner. Since 2001, the estate has belonged to the Moueix family. In 2018, 20% of the estate was sold to Alejandro Santo Domingo.
